We are so happy you’re interested in getting involved with our work here at ROAM. There are so many ways for you to help, and we truly appreciate each and every effort. By lending your support, you’ll become a valuable part of our Wolfdog Sanctuary and help to strengthen our operations.

INTERNSHIPS

We are currently accepting applications for a 3-month Animal Sanctuary Internship.

This unique opportunity is ideal for students pursuing careers in animal welfare, veterinary medicine, wildlife biology, or sanctuary work. Interns will work directly with our high-content wolfdogs and learn the daily operations of running an animal sanctuary.

Internship Overview:

• Duration: 3 months (with the possibility to renew)

• Schedule: 20 hours per week required

• Compensation: Small weekly stipend

• College credit may be arranged based on institutional approval

• Minimum age: 18

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Housing not available – ideal for local or commuting students

Key Experiences Include:

• Daily care of high-content wolfdogs (feeding, cleaning, enrichment)

• Observation of animal behavior and health

• Insight into sanctuary management and nonprofit operations

• Professional development and networking in the animal care field

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Here at Roam, we are very excited to partner up with youth groups as an avenue to gain education and needed awareness about wolves in the wild and wolfdogs as pets. Many times our youth feels intimated, judged and uncertain of the world around them. We hope to offer them a place where they will find acceptance, learn to communicate freely and gain confidence as well as evaluate life and animals in a positive manner so they may eventually go on to become successful adults.
